Introducing "Strong Straws", Australia's strongest paper straws. These straws are proven to stay stronger for longer in your drink. This is due to the thickness, quality and design. They are 40% thicker than your average paper straw and can easily last up to 4 hours in an icy cold drink without going soggy.
The unique design of our bubble tea strong straw ensures stability and durability, allowing for easy piercing through sealed cup lids with it's sharp pointed tip. In fact it's the only paper straw on the market that can do this. Its ample width of 10.5mm diameter is expertly crafted to allow bubble tea toppings, including tapioca pearls, popping pearls, and jellies to move up the straw easily. It's the longest lasting bubble tea paper straw in Australia.
These individually wrapped Bubble Tea 5Ply "Strong Straws" in Mixed Colour are sold in a carton. The carton contains 1,000 loose wrapped straws.

Our Paper Straws have now been sold in Australia since 2013, tried and tested for quality and usability. A real 4-ply Food Grade Paper Straw, making the straw last well in a drink, and hold its shape, as one of the best on the market.
With no waxes, and only 0.6% food grade glue to make the straw, this meets the required standards of EN13432 that glue must be less than 1%. As a paper straw is made up of natural cellulose fibres it can be universally considered compostable and biodegradable. We have lab tests results meeting a PASS for Council of Europe Resolution AP (2002) test for Heavy Metals and Chemicals (list can be provided) and also to FDA standards. Our paper straws are made in a factory holding BSCI certification, and are made to the highest standard including UV pasteurised before final packing. Our Paper straws hold up in all beverages, but do not quite last as long in a high acidic juice or smoothie.
